Consumer Reports (CR) included winter tires in its most recent comparison tests. Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich reports on CR’s top winter tire picks in his latest blog, including the two tires fighting for the top spot.
The two highest scoring brands tied for number one, but Consumer Reports gave the nod for best tire to Michelin’s X-Ice Xi3.
CR did not explain why, leaving Ulrich to speculate in his latest blog, “Nokian Crashes the Party in the Consumer Reports Winter Tire Test.”
