Michelin, Snider Celebrate 1.5 Millionth Service Call
Michelin North America Inc. recently hosted a lunch for Snider Tire Inc. employees to celebrate the completion of the 1.5 millionth Michelin OnCall emergency road service event.The event took place this past May, when a Snider service truck responded to a request for help placed by LandStar.
Snider Tire, which does business as Snider Fleet Solutions, is a Michelin Commercial Services Network (MCSN) member.
"The Michelin OnCall promise of getting vehicles back on the road quickly without sacrificing quality service could not be achieved without the network of MCSN members," say Michelin officials.
During the lunch, which Michelin staged for Charlotte-area Snider employees, Michelin's Devin Robinson presented a crytal plaque that commemorated the service call milestone to Keith Allen, Snider vice president of sales.
Michelin launched the OnCall program in 2009 "and has consistently had vehicles back on the road in under 120 minutes from the time of the call, including dispatch time," according to Michelin officials.
Snider Tire is the third largest independent commercial tire dealership in the United States, according to MTD's Top 25 Commercial Tire Dealers list, which will be available soon.
