Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) will display its new V-Flexa farm tire at Agritechnica in November. The V-Flexa is BKT's latest-generation flotation tire and has been specifically designed for agricultural trailers.
The tire, which features VF (very high flexion) technology, "enables the transport of heavy loads with an inflation pressure that is 30% less than that of a standard tire of the same size," according to BKT officials.
It also contains steel belts for enhanced resistance against impacts and punctures, and features an all-steel casing to support heavy loads at low air pressure levels, as well as a "super-resistant sidewall that further enhances performance."
The V-Flexa's extra-large contact area provides optimal weight distribution and helps reduce soil compaction, say BKT officials.
Agritechnica 2019 will take place Nov. 10-16 in Hanover, Germany.
