Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.’s Tire Optix commercial tire management program was introduced in Nashville at the 2018 Goodyear Customer Conference. Nearly 1 million commercial truck tires have been inspected using the program since then.
"Tire Optix has been so effective that some of the country’s biggest fleets, including Western Express, now require it as part of their tire programs," said Cary Budzinski, senior director of commercial sales in North America, at the 2019 Customer Conference . "And dealers are using it to win with smaller fleets, too."
The company is adding more features to the Tire Optix program, he added. (Goodyear says more details on the new features will be announced later this year.)
The software management platform and tool was designed for monitoring a commercial tire's tread wear and tire pressure in real time. For more information, check out this link:
