To mark the 50th anniversary of Bandag, Bridgestone Bandag LLC has donated $21,000 to charities in several communities, including Bandag's long-time home of Muscatine, Iowa.
Bandag donated $15,000 to the Muscatine Salvation Army; $1,500 to the Long Beach (Calif.) Rescue Mission; $1,000 to Paramount Library in Long Beach; $1,000 to the United Way of Abilene, Texas; $1,000 to the Griffin-Spalding United Way in Griffin, Ga.; $1,000 to the ACIM Food Back in Oxford, N.C.; and $500 to the Salvation Army in Muncie, Ind.
