Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. has made its 56-page "Environmental and Social Report 2007" available in English. The PDF file is posted on Yokohama Rubber's Web site.
Highlights of the report include the following:
* environment-related data from 20 domestic and overseas production bases of the Yokohama Rubber Group, as well as from Yokohama Rubber Headquarters and Group companies in Japan.
* "Yokohama Forever Forest," a project that will create forests at domestic and overseas production bases of Yokohama Rubber Group by 2017, the company's 100th anniversary. The project started with a planting ceremony at the Iratsuka factory in November 2007.

The company has been issuing an annual report on its environmental and social activities since 2000.
