Former Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. President Mario DiFederico has died at the age of 86.
DiFederico began his career with Firestone in 1947. He was elected to the company's board of directors in 1970. He retired as president in 1979.
DiFederico is survived by his wife, Jean, and three children.
