China Manufacturers Alliance LLC (CMA) says it has purchased its first North American distribution center, a facility in Memphis, Tenn.
The warehouse is scheduled to open in late 2007. It was first reported about on moderntiredealer.com Sept. 10.
The facility will encompass over 150,000 square feet and will stock and ship Double Coin brand truck and bus radial and off-the-road tires.
"Future Double Coin products may be distributed from the facility," say CMA officials, who add that Memphis is "the optimum re-distribution point" for their products.
"Additional warehouses and locations will be considered in the future."
CMA also has a distribution center in Urbana, Ohio.
