Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will raise prices on its consumer and commercial tires up to 10%, effective Sept. 1. The hike will apply to all of the company's brands.
In addition, Goodyear will raise its OTR tire prices up to 7% on the same day.
A Goodyear spokesman says the actions are necessary due to escalating raw material, energy and transportation costs.
