Car Care Council sponsors second Automotive Aftermarket Women's Career Day

Aug. 7, 2007

The Car Care Council Women's Board will hold its second annual Automotive Aftermarket Women's Career Day at the Dover International Speedway in Dover, Del., on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007.

"The Automotive Aftermarket Women's Career Day provides us with a unique opportunity to educate students about the automotive aftermarket and, specifically, careers for young women," says Katie Noga, board president. "It is one of our goals to encourage women to consider our industry as a career path, and this venue is a great means of direct communication with students."

Participants will hear guest speakers from all facets of the automotive aftermarket and racing industry. Lunch is included and the day will be topped off with an on-site garage tour. The event is open to female students ages 18-34.

To register a student or attend the event, contact Katie Noga at (847) 742-7840 ext. 4471 or [email protected].
