Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. will hold the grand opening for its newest TDW (Tire Dealers Warehouse) location on Aug. 6. The 55,000-square-foot facility is located in Portland, Ore.
TDW Portland offers a broad range of Hercules tires, as well as tires from manufacturers including but not limited to Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc., Yokohama Tire Corp., Falken Tire Corp., Nexen Tire America Inc., the Sailun Group (and its Super Express brand), Vogue Tyre & Rubber Co., Solideal USA Inc., and Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels (both the Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek brands).
"Although TDW is new to the Northwest, dealers are very receptive to our approach as a one-stop-shopping resource," says Mike Distel, president of the Hercules Tire USA division. "We are a supplier, not a competitor, to the independent tire dealers in this market."
Dave Simas will serve as general manager of the Portland branch. Assisting Simas with TDW territory sales will be Jerry Pease and Dan Kennedy.
