Binghamton, N.Y.-based Kost Tire/Muffler opened two new stores within the last 12 months and has plans to open a new store in Rochester, N.Y.
The stores Kost Tire added last year are in Scranton, Pa., and Emira, N.Y,
With 48 retail outlets in total, Kost Tire is the 15th largest independent tire store chain in the United States, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
