Gary Garfield is the new vice president, general counsel and secretary of Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc. (BSAH). He succeeds Saul Solomon, who was named chairman, CEO and president of Bridgestone Bandag LLC on May 31.
Melissa McGuire was promoted to vice president, general counsel and secretary of Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC, succeeding Garfield in that position. (Garfield also held the title of deputy general counsel for BSAH.)
Both Garfield and McGuire will report to Mark Emkes, chairman and CEO of BSAH and Bridgestone Firestone.
Prior to her promotion, McGuire was division general counsel for BSAH and general counsel to Credit First National Association, BSAH's nationally chartered credit card bank.
