American Car Care Centers' (ACCC) recently created New England Dealer Advisory Board consists of eight members, including one distributor and seven tire dealers.
Bob Katz, owner of Nu-Tread Tire & Automotive Service Center in Boston, Mass., is the board's chairman.
Katz says the New England group will launch a cable TV ad campaign next month to coincide with ACCC's upcoming bicycle give-away promotion.
"We plan to do more advertising as a group."
Memphis, Tenn.-based ACCC is the largest tire distribution network in North America with more than 1,000 members, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
