Tire technology conference will feature STL's Schnuth

April 10, 2007

Cheryl Schnuth, vice president of marketing and technical sales for Standards Testing Laboratories (STL), will be a featured speaker at the 2007 Tire Technology in China Automobile Industry Conference.

The conference will be held in Shanghai, China, April 10-11, 2007.

Schnuth's presentation, titled "U.S. Government Regulations for Imported Light Vehicle Tires," will focus on the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) for tires and how the regulations affect Chinese and other foreign manufacturers marketing tires in the United States. She says STL has been involved with FMVSS since its inception in 1968.

Schnuth has more than 27 years of experience in the tire and testing industry. She has spent the last 12 years in various capacities with STL.

The 2007 Tire Technology in China Automobile Industry Conference is designed as an exchange platform in which administrators, engineers, sourcing and production managers and marketing executives of tire, automobile, raw material and ancillary services and support companies from around the world discuss and explore the latest technologies in an impartial professional environment.
