Bob Sumerel Tire Co. has opened a commercial tire location in Houston, Pa., near Pittsburgh, the company's first outlet in the "Keystone State."
The facility will serve western Pennsylvania. The company also plans to build a new Bandag retread plant in Houston. (It currently has six retread plants throughout its operating area.)
Bob Sumerel Tire is the 14th largest independent commercial tire dealership and the 18th largest retreader in the United States, according to Modern Tire Dealer research.
