Brityrex invites attendees to visit Retreading Village

March 20, 2007

The upcoming Brityrex International 2007 exhibition and trade show will feature "Retreading Village."

The United Kingdom's Retread Manufacturers Association (RMA) and its member companies pioneered the concept. Companies already committed to exhibiting in the "village" include Bandag Inc., Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Marangoni Tread (Marangoni Group), Watts Industrial Polymers (a subsidiary of the Watts Group) and insurance specialist Kingsland Robart & Co.

RMA Director David Wilson says the new eature will emphasize the importance of the retreading sector in the overall U.K. tire market.

"Retreading is a business worth well in excess of 100 million pounds in the U.K., and RMA members play an important role in all sectors: car, truck, industrial and earthmover. Anyone with an interest in the market will find a visit to Brityrex of real benefit in learning about the latest developments in materials, technology and marketing."

In addition to exhibitors in the village area, the retreading sector is well represented by C-Tyres Ltd., Elgitread (India) Ltd., Pang (UK) Ltd., Rema Tip Top GmbH and Treadsetters Ltd. They join dozens of leading tire and equipment manufacturers and suppliers from around the world who have pledged their support for the U.K.'s only dedicated, independent tire and equipment show of the year.

Brityrex International will be held at the G-MEX Exhibition Centre, Manchester, from May 1-3, 2007. Retreading Village will occupy stands 79 to 81a.

Entrance to Brityrex is free to bona fide trade visitors. Advance registrations can be made directly via the exhibition Web site at www.eci-international.com.
