Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) will supply the Chrysler Group's 2008 Dodge Avenger SE with Firestone FR690 tires, the 2008 Avenger SXT model with Bridgestone Turanza EL40002 tires, and the Dodge Avenger R/T with Bridgestone Potenza RE92A tires.
The Avenger SE will use the FR690 in size P215/65R16 96T, while the Avenger SXT will ride on the EL40002 in size P215/60R17 95T. Meanwhile, the Dodge Avenger R/T will be shod with the Potenza RE92A in size P215/55R18 94H.
"Bridgestone’s Turanza EL40002 in size P215/60R17 95T will also be optional equipment on the Dodge Avenger SE," say BFNT officials. "The Bridgestone Turanza EL40002 in size P215/55R18 94T will be optional equipment on the Dodge Avenger SXT."
The 2008 Avenger is the first Dodge mid-size car to offer all-wheel-drive capability combined with a sport-tuned suspension, performance steering and Electronic Stability Program with Traction Control.
