Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC has announced that Dan Ellis, goaltender for the Nashville Predators hockey team, will be the grand marshal for the Firestone Indy 200 this Saturday.
The race will be held at the Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway.
Ellis' duties will involve starting the race. He also will participate in pre-race ceremonies and post-race activities.
"The Bridgestone brand is the official tire of the National Hockey League and a partner with the Predators," says Phil Pacsi, vice president of consumer marketing, BFNT.
