June 21, 2008

Robert Dabrowski, owner and president of Tire Warehouse Central, recently was honored by the Yankee Clipper Council Boy Scouts of America.

Dabrowski received the group's prestigious 2008 President's Award from incoming scout council President Larry Healey for the support Tire Warehouse has provided over the years to the Yankee Clipper Council Pinewood Derby Races, as well as to the many other councils throughout New England.

"It's always been a pleasure working with such a great organization that enables the youth of America to achieve personal goals to develop self esteem as well as strong family values,” said Dabrowski at the group's annual Business Meeting and Recognition Dinner, held in Andover, Mass.

The 2008 President's Award is presented to businesses or individuals for their outstanding commitment and dedication to scouting.

The Yankee Clipper Council serves the families of 52 cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire through five districts. Tire Warehouse Central is based in Keene, N.H.
