Perfect Equipment Inc., a leading wheel balance weight brand in North America and a member of the WEGMANN Automotive family of brands, received the Chrysler Group LLC 2013 Emerging Supplier of the Year Award.
The honor was given to Perfect at the company’s recent 2013 Annual Strategy Meeting and Supplier Awards Ceremony in Auburn Hills, Mich.
More than 2,500 global supplier executives attended the event, including representatives from Perfect Equipment and WEGMANN automotive.

Award recipients were determined based on an evaluation of each company’s external balanced scorecard (EBSC) performance in 2012 -- a rating system that evaluates supplier performance in areas such as quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership.
The Emerging Supplier of the Year Award recognizes a high performing supplier with a lower volume of business that demonstrates tremendous potential for growth and a long-term relationship with Chrysler.
Perfect Equipment has been a long-time supplier to Chrysler and is currently supplying the company with premium zinc wheel balance weights.
