Alliance Tire Co. is building a plant in India that will double the Israel-based specialty tire manufacturer's production capacity, says Alliance Tire USA President Manny Cicero.
"We hope to be producing by the end of the first quarter of 2009," says Cicero.
The plant, which represents a $100 million investment, is scheduled to manufacture farm tires and some small OTR tires, some of which will be exported to the United States.
"It's going to double our capacity," says Cicero.
