Raybestos Brakes help Kyle Busch earn victory in Texas

April 15, 2013

Kyle Busch drove to his 26th Sprint Cup victory at Saturday’s NRA 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.

Under the stopping power of Raybestos brakes, Busch drove his No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota to victory lane; beating out Martin Truex Jr. by just .508 seconds.

“Kyle was so fast all day, and he really drove his butt off at the end,” said Dave Rogers, Crew Chief of Busch’s No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota. “Kyle was running up front all day long, and when he grabbed the top spot after the final restart, we knew he was going to bring it home.” Busch led for a race-high 171 laps.

Also running the Raybestos brakes intermediate racing package were Roush Fenway drivers Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle. They secured third and fourth-place finishes, respectively, in Saturday’s race at Texas Motor Speedway. “We had great pits stops all night,” said Edwards. “This was just a great event. I wish we were over there celebrating in victory lane, but we’ll get there.”
