Groupe Michelin says it will hold its annual shareholders meeting on Friday, May 16.
Michelin recently published its first quarter financial results. The company posted net sales of nearly 4.1 billion euros during the quarter, a 2.6% decrease from its sales during the same period last year. (Michelin did not release its net income for the quarter.)
Michelin also recently announced that its Michelin North America Inc. (MNA) subsidiary plans to raise prices in July.
MNA will raise its Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, private and associate brand passenger and light truck replacement tire prices up to 8%. In addition, MNA is raising prices on its earthmover and industrial tires sold in North America up to 8%, also effective July 1.
