BBTS hikes tread rubber prices up to 5%

May 6, 2008

Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions (BBTS) has raised the price of its United States tread rubber products up to 5%. Prices for tread rubber sold in Canada have not been raised.

"Unprecedented energy prices continue to impact our costs, particularly for raw materials and transportation," says Saul Solomon, president of BBTS.

"We’ll continue to focus on enhancing our operational efficiencies and increase productivity so that we may only pass on increased costs as absolutely necessary."
