Kauffman Tire Inc., one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the country, plans to add six retail stores and one wholesale facility within the next year.
The Atlanta, Ga.-based company currently has 49 retail stores, 12 wholsale outlets, four combined retail/commercial outlets and one commercial-only location.
Kauffman Tire achieved $256 million in sales during 2007. It sells Goodyear, Cooper, Pirelli, Dunlop, Continental, General, Kumho, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Toyo and Mastercraft brand tires.
