George Hoellen, president of T.O. Haas Tire, received the Mid America Tire Dealers Association (MATDA) Industry Service Award last weekend at the group's annual convention and trade show.
The award is presented to "an individual who has distinguished himself or herself in the tire industry, either through years of unselfish dedication and service, or through a single exemplary act of service that has resulted in extraordinary benefits to the MATDA membership," say T.O. Haas officials.
Hoellen, a long-time MATDA board member, has worked on in-store safety initiatives for T.O. Haas employees.
Based in Lincoln, Neb., T.O. Haas Tire has 27 stores throughout Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas.
