The Tirecraft Group Inc., which includes Remington Tire Distributors Ltd. and several other companies, was granted creditor protection earlier this week by the Alberta Court of Queens. The court order will allow the Tirecraft Group to restructure.
PricewaterhouseCoopers has been appointed to oversee the Sherwood Park, Alberta-based group's activities during subsequent proceedings, including its restructuring process.
Other entities under the Tirecraft Group banner that have been granted protection include Tirecraft Auto Centers Ltd., Tirecraft Auto Centers (Operations) Ltd., Canadian Treads Corp., and Canadian Treads MFG Corp.
