Bridgestone tires OE on Toyota Land Cruiser

April 10, 2008

Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC reports its Bridgestone-brand Dueler tires are original equipment on the latest version of Toyota’s Land Cruiser.

The newly styled, more-powerful, seventh-generation 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser is available with Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684 II tires in size P285/60R18 114V.

The all-season tire is geared for off-road, yet is quiet and comfortable on-highway, the company says. It incorporates Bridgestone's UNI-T technology in the casing, bead and the tread.

The Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684 II has a rounder overall tire shape for optimum balance for wet or dry handling and uses re-engineered carbon black for improved tire wear and noise reduction.

Presently, 15 other Toyota vehicles come standard with Bridgestone- and/or Firestone-brand tires, including the Avalon, Camry, Camry Solara, Corolla, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Highlander, Matrix, Prius, RAV4, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma, Tundra and Yaris.
