Toledo, Ohio-based Capital Tire is celebrating 60 years as a Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. dealer.
Capital Tire President Tom Geiger Sr. and son, Tom Geiger Jr., recently met with Goodyear officials -- including Goodyear Chairman and CEO Bob Keegan and Jon Rich, president of Goodyear's North American Tire division -- to mark the anniversary.
Capital Tire was founded by Ben Geiger in 1919. The company operates six retail stores under the Tom's Tire banner, six commercial tire outlets and eight wholesale locations.
