Norwell, Mass.-based Sullivan Tire Co. Inc. has opened two new stores, one in Bedford, Mass., and another in Portsmouth, N.H.
The Bedford outlet coincides with the closing of Sullivan's store in Burlington, Mass., says Sullivan Tire spokesman Tom Wilson.
"We relocated all of our employees" from the old store to Bedford. "We even sent out $25 gift certificates" to bring customers in to the new location.
The Bedford and Portsmouth openings bring the total number of Sullivan Tire's retail stores to 47. The company also has 11 commercial outlets. It's the 10th largest independent tire dealership in the United States, according to Modern Tire Dealer research.
