A spokesman for Continental AG has told moderntiredealer.com that Continental AG is "still interested" in Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s Engineered Products division.
However, due to the on-going strike at Goodyear "the formal process has slowed down," he added.
Seven months ago, moderntiredealer.com reported that Continental had expressed interest in acquiring the division.
"It would make sense," said a Continental official at the tine. "It would be a very good fit for our ContiTech division."
