Central Tire Co. Inc. of Sanford, Maine, has broken ground on a new, 24,000-square-foot retread plant that will replace its existing retread shop in that town.
The plant is scheduled to be up and running within 180 days, says Central Tire Co. owner Rene Therrien.
"This project has taken almost a year to get to where we are today."
Central Tire Co. uses Oliver Mega Mile retread materials.
