Kumho Tire Co. is the latest new tire manufacturer to join the Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB).
A total of eight new tire manufacturers support TRIB as members. In addition to Kumho, they include Bridgestone/Firestone, Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Michelin North America Inc., Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Yokohama Tire Corp. and Hankook Tire Co. Ltd.
"We are very pleased that Kumho Tire Co. has decided to support TRIB," says Harvey Brodsky, managing director of TRIB. "They, along with our other new tire manufacturer members, realize that TRIB’s efforts on behalf of retreading benefit the entire truck tire industry."
Brodsky adds that TRIB is actively inviting all other new tire manufacturers throughout the world to join its ranks.
