Cleveland, N.C.-based RDH Tire & Retread Co. will use Bandag Inc.'s Contiuum brand OTR retread materials.
"Our plant is now ready to manufacture tires with Contiuum brand tread products," says Ty Smith, corporate sales manager for RDH Tire.
RDH Tire is the 23rd largest retreader in the United States with a daily output of 52 OTR tire retreads, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
"The global shortage for new OTR tires has made a significant impact on demand for retreads," says Mike Poirier, North American OTR sales manager for the Continuum brand.
