Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.'s European unit, Yokohama Europe GmbH, has formed a "marketing collaboration" with Brussels, Belgium-based Bandag NV.
"Throughout Europe, Yokohama will market its truck and bus tires and promote retreading in collaboration with the Bandag franchise network," say Yokohama officials. Bandag has some 260 franchises throughout Europe.
"Yokohama, meanwhile, will extend its casing warranty to cover the first retreading when performed by a Bandag franchisee."
Yokohama Europe GmbH is based in Desseldorf, Germany.
