KYB says 'Feeling is Believing'

Sept. 13, 2006

KYB is introducing its "Feeling is Believing" fall promotion on Sept. 15. Service providers will earn certificates valid for $10 off future KYB purchases for every set of two KYB shocks or struts purchased and installed between Sept. 15 and Nov. 15.

Additionally, KYB is rewarding the outside salespeople working with participating service dealers with a gift card.

"By offering a second incentive to the outside salespeople, we believe that we can help to increase communication between the manufacturer, distributor and service dealer," says Director of Marketing and Training William "Mac" McGovern.

The Feeling is Believing promotion is set up to give service providers the flexibility to implement the program as they like. Many service providers will elect to pass the savings on to consumers, while others can redeem their certificates at the end of the program on KYB products for their technicians.

"The ultimate purpose of Feeling is Believing is to fit KYB shocks and struts on more vehicles to allow people to feel first-hand the additional handling and control that we provide. A flexible program that is easy to implement is the best way to achieve this," says McGovern.

Service providers participating in the two-month promotion also will be receiving a kit containing informational literature and point-of-sale items. These materials are designed to be effective in explaining shock and strut maintenance to the consumer not only during the promotion, but also year-round.
