Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. says the Cooper Tire Bowl Challenge Cup trophy will be presented to the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big 12 Conference on Sept. 9.
"Each conference had a record of 5-3 in last year’s bowl games tying for the top spot among the 12 conferences represented in bowl games," say Cooper officials.
The trophy is presented each year to the conference with the highest winning percentage in its bowl games, with a minimum of three games.
