The Independent Tire Dealers Group LLC (ITDG) will be adding the Sonsio Road Hazard Program to the group's offerings as part of a new agreement with Sonsio Inc.
Sonsio has built a warranty service center network of more than 26,000 independent and company-owned automotive repair centers in North America. The company covers close to 32 million tires with its road hazard protection plans, and provides a parts and labor warranty program that protects more than 57 million repairs annually.
"As the Independent Tire Dealers Group continues to grow nationally, our program fits perfectly with its coast-to-coast coverage," says Michael Jones, Sonsio's CEO and president. "Our mission at Sonsio is to help dealers create a safety net that catches inconvenienced customers who have a problem with their tires."
ITDG CEO and President Michael Cox says he had used Sonsio's services on a number of occasions prior to the agreement. "Their COMPLETE Road Hazard Protection program is the most comprehensive tire road hazard plan in the market today... and the only program we endorse."
The ITDG is comprised of 56 shareholders and 103 members representing 307 retail tire and service centers in 11 western states. It offers Continental, General, Pirelli, Sumitomo, Hankook, Yokohama, Nexen, YKS, Titan, Runway and Mohawk tire programs.
