Phil Stevenson, a former commercial products sales manager for Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., has died at the age of 64.

"He came on board with Cooper when we completed the acquisition of Standard Products in 1999," says a Cooper spokesperson. He left Cooper three years ago.

"Although he was only with Cooper for a short period of time, he made many friends and will be missed by all of us."

Preceded by his son, Joseph, he is survived by his wife; son, Scott (Edie); daughter, Kallie (John) Benjamin; and brothers, David (Chris) and James, plus the mother of his children, Joan, and three grandchildren.
