Big O Tires Inc. has promoted Pete Koury to East Division vice president.
"Pete's retail sales and operations experience, hands-on approach and his absolute commitment to growing the business will be tremendous assets as we continue our quest to become the number one tire retailer in North America," says Carl Finamore, chief operating officer.
Koury, a 23-year automotive aftermarket industry veteran, joined Big O in January of 2004 as a Colorado Region business manager.
There are more than 550 Big O Tire stores in the United States. They are primarily located in the western and midwestern states. Since 1996, Big O Tires has operated as a subsidiary of Florida-based TBC Corp.
