Hankook Tire America Corp.'s Optimo H725 touring tires will be original equipment on the new Ford Focus, which goes into production next month.
The Focus will use size P195/60R15T tires. The fitment "is another major step forward in growing our brand position here in the United States," says Hankook Marketing Director Bill Bainbridge.
The Optimo H725 has been specifically engineered for smaller cars "where road handling is just as important as fuel economy," according to Hankook officials.
In addition to Ford, Hankook has OE fitments with General Motors, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Kia and other auto manufacturers.
