Cooper names five to global IT positions

Five management roles have been filled in Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s globalized information technology organization.

Michael Langhals is network services manager, responsible for providing a secure and reliable voice and data network infrastructure throughout Cooper for both mobile and office-based clients. A Cooper employee since 1994, he previously worked as an application developer, system administrator and system architect.

Richard Shultis is deployment manager, responsible for ensuring that all deployed IT solutions align with Cooper's technology strategy, comply with regulatory requirements and meet the highest possible quality standards. Since joining Cooper in 1993, Shultis has worked as a senior application programmer, lead systems developer and lead database analyst.

Keith Story is IT facility manager for North America, responsible for coordinating with IT managers at each of Cooper’s facilities in North America and ensuring IT consistency throughout the organization. A Cooper employee since 1992, Story previously worked as an application developer and IT manager at Cooper’s Albany, Ga., facility.

Loren Wagner is IT facility manager for International, responsible for coordinating IT consistency throughout the Cooper organization in Europe and Asia. Since joining Cooper in 1976, Wagner has worked as a computer operator, operations analyst, analyst programmer, system administrator and, most recently, as network services manager.

Gary Waltermire is desktop services manager, responsible for overseeing the purchase, installation, support and management of all desktop hardware and software for personal computers, workstations, notebooks and printers. Since joining Cooper in 1984, Waltermire has worked as a senior programmer analyst, lead analyst programmer and lead systems developer.
