Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is rolling out new mixed service truck tires and sizes to complement its line of Dunlop brand line-haul, regional and urban truck tires.
The new mixed service tires are the Dunlop SP832 and the Dunlop SP932, which are replacing the SP831 and SP931, respectively.
In addition, two new sizes have been added to the Dunlop SP581 mixed service line.
"Mixed service tires -- which can be used on- and off-road -- feature severe service tread compounds and improved belt packages for improved resistance to cutting, chipping and tearing when the tire leaves the roadway," say Goodyear officials.
The expanded Dunlop offerings "give our dealers a full tier two commercial tire line-up," says Donn Kramer, director of commercial tire marketing in North America for Goodyear.
