Treadways Corp. will promote two of its senior executives following the retirement of Chairman and CEO Dan Wire on March 31.
Ryoji (Roy) Araki will take over as chairman and CEO of Treadways. He has served as president and chief operating officer since May 2002.
Koichiro (Kyle) Iwasawa will take over as president and COO. He was named executive vice president of operations in April 2005.
"Mr. Wire, who served as president and CEO from 1996 and as chairman and CEO since May 2002, did an outstanding job and will be sorely missed," says Araki.
Treadways markets replacement passenger, light truck and truck tires on a wholesale basis to regional tire chains and distributors serving independent tire dealers throughout North America.
