Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has announced that Jerry Long will assist "in the worldwide integration of Cooper's global supply chain network," say Cooper officials.
He will help with warehousing and distribution, logistics and transportation, and planning.
"An 18-year Dana Corporation employee with a broad-based background in finance and lean manufacturing processes, Long has international experience as director of finance for a $250 million division based in Germany.
"He also worked as manufacturing manager for a $200 million facility and was a member of a new plant start-up team."
