The Tire Industry Association is providing extra details on the Department of Defense's Tire Privatization Day, which will be held on March 9 in Columbus, Ohio.
The purpose of the event is to discuss establishing a performance-based logistics approach for the supply chain management of tires for the Department of Defense.
Among the topics that will be covered: what is being privatized, tire disposal, procurement, order fulfillment, shipping, transportation and customer service.
