Goodyear Tire & Rubber has named Jerry Alessia manager of its 116-store Just Tires chain.
"Alessia's appointment was prompted by the assignment of former Just Tires leader Lenny Mullen to a special projects post with Goodyear's retail operations group," say Goodyear officials.
In his new role, Mullen will be responsible for the creation and implementation of new store retailing standards.
Alessia most recently worked as director of customer care and operations for Sears Roebuck & Co.
In related news, Rob Rajkowski has been named director of marketing and merchandising for Goodyear's retail division. He joined Goodyear last year.
