Sullivan Tire sponsors Michelin Soccer Program

Sept. 14, 2012

Sullivan Tire & Auto Service has partnered with the Michelin North America Inc.’s Soccer Program for the 2012 soccer season. This partnership is taking place in seven towns where there are also Sullivan Tire locations.

Certificates have been sent to each league for the parents or kids to come into Sullivan Tire locations and redeem free, high-quality, four-ply soccer balls, while supplies last.

Additionally, $2 will be donated to the leagues for every Michelin tire sold during the 30-day program period to the general public. Donations can be used to purchase items such as new soccer equipment, uniforms, and entry fees for local soccer tournaments.

“Making a difference in our community and supporting our youth is so important to us,” says Mark Sullivan of Sullivan Tire Co. Inc. “We look forward to connecting with players and families from Fall River Youth Soccer Association when they come in for their free soccer ball.”

“The nationwide Michelin Soccer Program provides a unique way for our dealers to connect with their community, while igniting the spirits of players and families committed to youth soccer, says Don Byrd, vice president of Marketing for Michelin Americas Small Tires. “It is especially rewarding to know that through the program, we are able to provide more families the opportunity to participate in the sport, while enhancing our community involvement.”
