Maxxis hits the hoops, sponsors Houston Rockets

Continuing its support of popular major league sports, Maxxis International has signed an agreement to sponsor the Houston Rockets basketball team for the coming season.

As an Official Partner of the Rockets, Maxxis says it will gain valuable exposure to the team’s many fans across the U.S. and around the world. Included in the deal is one minute of TV exposure for Maxxis through courtside LED signage during Rockets home games.

The company’s name and logo will also be featured prominently during the “Rockets on the Road” in-arena feature that will play during games at Toyota Center. Additionally, Maxxis will also serve as a presenting sponsor of a promotional giveaway night during the upcoming season.

Maxxis has a long history of supporting top athletes and teams, and the company currently sponsors teams in a variety of sports around the world. The 2012-2013 season will represent Maxxis’ second stint as a Rockets sponsor.

“We are very excited to once again partner with the Houston Rockets for the upcoming season,” said Matt Clark, marketing manager for Maxxis. “The Rockets are an established international brand with an exciting young team, and we look forward to cheering their many victories during the upcoming season.”

The Rockets’ season begins Oct. 31, 2012, with a game against the Detroit Pistons. For a complete schedule and ticket information, visit www.nba.com/rockets.
